Replace small roof

We have a poorly constructed roof on an extensions of our house approx 3x 1 meter. The irons are flat, which has caused a leak by the looks of things. I would like to remove the irons, assess the situation and replace the roof with a better pitched roof with guttering. At the same time, I'd like to make replacements to any of the wood or extension which are affected by the leak.
