Spouting adjustment

My metal spouting on one side of the house wasn't installed correctly years ago. Water just sits in it without draining away. Also there is a gap behind it, so when it rains waters runs down through the gap. Please only respond to this job if you have experience with this type of job and have plenty of positive reviews. Sorry no photo, and I don't respond to tradies who have no proven experience or have lots of negative feedback!
