Remove black scratches in bathtub surface

There is a network of fine scratches in our bathtub which have become blackened over time. They are unsightly and we want them to be white again. I don't know if the most economical way to do that is resurfacing or some kind of special cleaning. I'm open to the best solution. There is a regrouting job to do in the same shower/bath box, see --- / --- /regrout-or-clean-shower-bath-box-tiling
