Modifying an inbuilt wardrobe

**Modifying an inbuilt wardrobe: extending wardrobe, widening access, replacing single door with sliding doors.** We have an in built wardrobe in our bedroom that currently has a single door access. The inbuilt wardrobe sits between two bedrooms, and abuts another inbuilt wardrobe of the adjacent room. The wardrobe can be extended by pushing into the wardrobe of the adjacent room. We would like to: extend the wardrobe by pushing into the wardrobe of the adjacent room; remove the existing single door; widen the access opening of the wardrobe; and install sliding doors.
