Mud room and covered walkway

Job image

Job description

Structural renovations
Wellington

We would like to add an exterior mud room entryway (approximately 1.5m x 2.0m) to replace a small, partially covered patio outside our front door. We would then add an awning and planters along the existing footpath on that side of the house, approximately 20m in length. Refer to the supplied photo: envision adding vertical support poles between the low brick wall and the concrete retaining wall, extending an awning from the existing roofline to the support poles (e.g. with clear plastic skylighting), and excavating a bit of slope between the new support poles and low brick wall to install some planters to act as a low retaining wall and space for flowers etc. Prefer work completion by end of April 2020.

Malakai did a wonderful job on our new mud room and covered walkway. We are very happy with the quality and look of the finished result. He was easy to work with, took our requests into consideration, and offered suggestions when needed. The work had to span the Level 4 lockdown period, so Malakai made sure our site could sit idle while partially complete during the Level 4 restrictions.
