Dishwasher installation - advice

I have a very small apartment kitchen, that has never had a dishwasher. I want to install one (possibly a single drawer), but I'm not sure of the best place to put it, and how much of the cabinetry would have to change. I'm looking for someone to give advice on the best way to have a dishwasher. And to quote for doing the work. I want to avoid having to completely redo the kitchen, unless it's impossible to avoid, or more cost effective. I've attached 2 photos to show under the sink, and that there's an empty space at one end.
