Shower redo

Shower was redone a couple of years ago.. but by a cowboy we now realise. So now we are seeing the effects of moisture in places there shouldn't be moisture. Needing to look at getting this fixed by someone who is familiar with waterproofing and bathrooms etc. The shower consists of a white 3 sided wall liner with the original stainless steel shower tray and is positioned behind the bathroom door. However, where the liner overlaps the tray there is exposed gib which is crumbling to pieces. The shower door also sits on a custom ledge he'd made to prop it up but no sealant was used and the wood is going mouldy and looks unsightly. Side job - Also looking at adding an extra step to our front steps. Not sure what to expect cost wise for the shower as this depends on the extent of the damage behind the shower liner which is not visible at the moment.
