Kitchen sink and new tap installation

Hi, We would like to replace our kitchen sink and tap (both already purchased). Where we came into difficulty - the existing benchtop's sinkhole is a few cm too narrow (width-wise) and needs cutting. The job will involve removing the old sink and tap, expanding benchtop's sinkhole, width-wise only (we think the benchtop is made out of Engineered Stone), installing new sink (top mount) and replacing old tap with a new one. Thank you
