We have drafted up four optional renovation plans for discussion on the feasibility and approximate cost of each to increase the current 3 bedroom / 2 bath( including an Master ensuite) and study home to a 4 bedroom ( with additional ensuite ) and study home . The planned options include reconfiguring the current layout within the current footprint/ an extension. reconfiguring layout plus extensions. We would like the work completed as soon as possible ; based on permit approval timeframes and guaranteed availability of materials Because the home will not be available to view at this stage, we are looking for non-binding professional opinion and approximated co --- on draft planning and measurements rather than actual so we can make a decision on which plan is the most realistic to pursue further. We have renovated a number of homes and appreciate issues that can arise through the building process We believe a clear understanding about the need for clear communication, transparency and careful project management are vital to negate those as much as possible . These initial discussions will be in Christchurch then onsite through the project.
