Leaking shower fix up

Hoping this is a simple as a decent silicone job done by an expert. The shower leaks down one side. Not convinced it was installed properly in the first place. I had a go at silicone myself - started off neatly in the beginning but after failed attempt #3 I got fed up and slapped on as much silicone as I could find. It’s not pretty! At the beginning of lockdown I discovered a crack in the floor and we have not used the shower since then. Will look to replace shower within a year but would like it to be functional in the meantime.
