We're looking at two options for upgrading our existing bathroom. Option 1 is to knock down the wall between the bathroom and toilet next door, re-floor, tile and board up one of the doors. Option 2 would be to leave the wall and doors in place and remove the existing fittings, replace with new ones, replace floor and do some tiling. The floor is chipboard and has had water damage in a small patch so we're looking at replacing that patch or the whole floor. Looking to do a lot of the demo ourselves and get a handy man to do the tiling and installation. We will be purchasing the bath, vanity, toilet etc.
