Sanding and varnishing of window frames

The interiors of window frames in the lounge, dining and three bedrooms have been affected my condensation over many years, as well as exposure to sunlight. Some surfaces are blackened and the varnish is peeling away. Some surfaces away from direct sunlight, especially the upper parts of the frames and areas under the pelmets, are virtually unaffected, so the job would only require renovating the worst surfaces (in most cases the lower half of the frames and the window sills). The house is now fitted with an HRV system.
