Job description
As per photo - the Kitchen/Laundry 'vinyl floor area' - this is the area to be renovated. Start date, likely 2nd week in August 20. Job to be completed within 2 weeks. To replace all kitchen and laundry cabinets. Install new rangehood & dishwasher. It is a small kitchen, essentially 2 floor units/bench tops (approx. 2m long each). Plus 3 sets of wall cabinets. Stove and kitchen sink will remain in the same location. A new dishwasher to be installed beside the kitchen sink. A new rangehood will be externally vented, possibly vented through wall, not ceiling (re photo, back left corner is the hot water cupboard, ducting can go through there). Fridge (space) will be provided for, next to the pantry cupboard (see left wall, brown louvered doors) The Laundry (back of kitchen), will be replaced with a single cabinet/benchtop (i.e. length from hot water cupboard to other wall) with an integrated laundry sink and space for a front loader washing machine. This unit will include draws/shelving. 1 Wall cabinet above laundry sink. Joinery, we are likely to use Cabjaks, units come assembled. Builder to measure & Owner will order & pay direct. Will discuss with Builder if this option is best or to use a local supplier. Summary Builder to: • Install all wall and floor cabinetry, sink, benchtops • Coordinate electrical and plumbing services • Install rangehood, external ventilation • Assist with splashback (to be discussed) • Install bathroom extractor fan (or electrician) • Likely other work, as required elsewhere in house (TBA) Owner to: • Gut kitchen • Assist Builder with associated work • Skip/trailer onsite for rubbish
