Replace pinex ceiling with gib in living room

We have pinex tiles (we dub them "1970s classroom ceiling tiles") in our living room. They need to go. 4mx8m room roughly speaking. Would want to get an electrician to do lighting in the ceiling too. Am very cold to renovation projects, may need to tweak the brief and or have my expectations adjusted. But if you can help get rid of these tiles, I'd be so grateful! :D
