With thousands of tradies across NZ, Builderscrack has your job covered
The job is to remove an internal wall between two bedrooms on the 2nd level of the house and to patch the gib on the remaining walls and ceiling. We are needing this done ahead of getting new flooring laid, so the sub-floor just needs to be left tidy.
The wall is 3040mm long. A building inspector (pre-purchase inspection) has advised the wall is not load bearing, however you will want to confirm this.
Timing - We would need the job done between 20/3 (Saturday) and 24/3. The reason for the tight time slot is we are taking ownership of the house on 19/3, and we have flooring installers working from 22/3 for the week. So this wall needs to be removed before they get to these rooms.
In the plans, the wall to be removed is the one between the two bedrooms above the garage.
