Photos to be uploaded shortly. We are renovating, and want to remodel our living room feature wall (see photos. In front of the feature wall we stand a media unit for our TV and associated devices. Next to the feature wall is a Rinnai gas fire. We want to replace the feature wall with a deeper block (450mm), to house a bio-ethanol fire and a recess above for a sound bar and large screen TV. We’d like a hearth effect to run the whole width of the room, below which could be a cubby and drawer each side. Down the left-hand side, we’ll need cubby holes down one side to hold other equipment (like Apple TV unit). We’ll source the bio-ethanol fire box (unless you have direct wholesale relationship and can also help with that’s. Depending on costs, we’d optionally like to build some shelves either side, too. Attached mock-ups and sketches illustrate what we’re thinking; although happy to be advised of alternative approaches. Note: We’ll subsequently be replacing our flooring, so this will need to include uplifting some laminated flooring and building from the sub-floor.
