Remove chimney place and stack
Job description
We would like to remove the old chimney place in our 1970s house. The work involves: 1) Removing the stack from the ground floor to the roof 2) Making good the roof tiles (I have spare concrete tiles) 3) Removing the fire place in the living room, and repairing the walls once removed (gib, ready for plastering/ painting) 4) Taking out the surrounding tiles and elevation around the fireplace - levelling to the existing floor height The work has been assessed by an engineer and can proceed as there are no structural changes required.

Mike and his team did a fantastic job. He was flexible, got the job done on time and to a really high standard. His communication was great and I loved his can-do attitude. He gave really good value for money and was a real pleasure to deal with. I'd recommend Mike highly and will be asking him to do more work on our place in the future.
