Build a new access way from small lounge to hallway

We are wanting to open access to a small lounge by creating a new doorway leading out to the hall. At the moment the small lounge has a door with two sliding doors opening out to a bigger family room but we want to create a new doorway to the hallway so that we can convert that room into a guest bedroom. We also want to sound proof the existing walls of that room to cut down noise, particularly TV noise from the rooms on either side of the room. The house is 9 years old.
