As part of compliance with outdoor space, the french doors and main door on the side of the house need to be removed and replaced with walls and two new windows. A new space for a slider needs to be created on the end of the house. One of the bedrooms needs to be made bigger with new window added. Insulation put into walls where applicable as well as underfloor and ceiling insulation to comply with healthy homes standards. New deck will need to be built off end of house (not part of this consent) and remnants of old deck on the side of the house be removed. Light switches, fittings and plugs replaced with modern. New carpet / paint job. There may also be some repair work to be undertaken resulting from the moving of the house. All foundation work is being undertaken by house-mover.
