Interior Wall Mods, and Possible Block Work
Job description
There are two parts to this. Part 1 - some interior built-in cupboard rearrangement I would like the built-in cupboard arrangement between two rooms to be amended as illustrated. Essentially, leave a cavity for wardrobes from Target Furniture on the bedroom side, and leave a small space on the store room side for possible cabinet or shelves, to be decided later. Involves removing two existing doors, reversing the mounting of both room doors, moving one light switch (use the existing switch, just reposition it and wire up accordingly), GIB work, GIB stopping, and preparation for painting. I'll paint unless your price is VERY good. Part 2 - Optional (cost dependent) block wall and window rearrangement I would like to know the cost of replacing floor-to-ceiling windows with a block wall about 1m high (height to be discussed) with windows from there to ceiling. This is to be done only if the cost is affordable, and might be done as a separate project later if the cost is too high. Both jobs have very easy access, with flat ground from driveway to work area and parking a couple of meters from the interior work and as close as you need to the block work. Enough space to turn a small truck around, so it's easy for tradie vehicles! Please note: I am definitely willing to consider separate contractors for each part or one contractor for both parts, so if your skills are better suited to just one part then that's totally fine, really no hassle at all. I'd rather have two competent people doing each part than someone who's pushing their luck. Please make it clear which part you'd be keen to do.

Very easy to communicate with, very fast to respond. Quote was a bit above what I'd hoped for, but not excessively so. They kept good time, and completed the job neatly. Other indoor work is planned and will invite them to quote when that is posted (not yet, I need to save up first).
