The house will be sold and likely demolished in a few years so we are looking for a cost effective solution suitable for elderly couple. -Remove existing shower/bathtub unit -Install a new, elderly-friendly shower (walk-in preferred, with grab rails etc.) - Remove wall tiles - Install vinyl bathroom wall panels for a low-maintenance finish This is a practical upgrade focused on safety and usability, so not a luxury renovation.
