Wet floor bathroom revamp

Advice on removing lookalike tile Formica wallboards, replace with aqua jib ready for painting & advice on what to use in the shower area, ie smooth finish shower walls, tiles or other. Fix Or replace drain fixture for shower. Arrange for install of new toilet - I have the replacement. The flooring is good & don’t see any need to replace that. I am happy to have semi retired builder who is happy to do this work as I realise just how busy builders are. I would like this done at earliest - have been trying to find someone local but not successful. Thank you
