Replace spring loaded bath plug

The current bath plug does not “pop up” when the round silver mechanism (fixed to the bath) is turned. Need an experienced tradesperson to visit ASAP and advise on the options to fix and quote. E.g. Spring replacement or replace the whole unit? Need this replaced urgently for house sale. I do not want the tiles to be removed or the bath surround impacted.
