I’m looking for a qualified plumber or bathroom installer to assess and rectify a shower installation issue in an ensuite bathroom.
Current situation:
The ensuite shower has a shower dome sitting on top of the enclosure but it is not fixed, sealed, or installed.
The dome appears to have been placed in position only, with no mechanical fixing or sealing.
There is a gap at the top of the shower door/frame, meaning the dome cannot currently connect or function effectively.
As installed, the dome is not fit for purpose and does not manage moisture properly.
What I need:
Assessment of whether the current shower dome can be properly installed and sealed with the existing shower enclosure; or
Advice on and installation of an appropriate alternative moisture solution (e.g. correct dome installation, modifications, or other compliant option).
Any required adjustments to ensure the solution is functional, durable, and suitable for everyday use.
Additional info:
Property is occupied.
Ensuite bathroom.
No extractor fan (currently relying on dome or equivalent moisture control).
Please contact me if you:
Have experience with shower domes and bathroom ventilation/moisture solutions
Can provide a clear quote and, if needed, a brief explanation of what’s required and why
