Shower replacement
Job description
Our fibreglass shower has seen better days and needs to be replaced. Ideally this would be done sometime between the end of February and mid-April 2020, with exact dates TBC. The shower is a non-standard size, so we’re open to different suggestions about what it gets replaced with e.g. a custom-made unit might be best, or alternatively tiles might work well. As you can see from the photos, the shower unit is built into a corner of the bathroom. The depth of the shower is 90cm, the height is 198cm and the width is 73.5cm. Adjacent to the shower, on the other side of the wall to the left of the shower, is a storage cupboard which could (with some carpentry work) potentially be made a bit smaller if it was most cost-effective to widen the available bathroom space. Personal inspections welcome. We intend to rent the property out (long term) once we move into our new place (settlement schedule for 27 Feb, but may get pushed out. We are after something fairly robust yet economical, tidy but not “high end”. I’ve included a photo of the bathroom to give a sense of what else is in there.

Overall very satisfied and would use Five Star Bathrooms again. The owner Dave was highly responsive and a pleasure to deal with, and the quality of the product installed is excellent. The work was done by two employees, both of whom were friendly and efficient. A couple of fairly minor workmanship issues were swiftly fixed by Dave himself. In short, a professional operator who did a great job for a competitive price!
