New Build - Expert Advice

We are building a new house on a tight budget and are keen to do as much as possible ourselves including supplying as many of the materials as possible. We are looking for someone who can assist us with expert advice and provide a breakdown of everything required for the build. Ideally, we are looking for an expert to assist with providing a list of all activities required, and a list of materials right down to the last screw. It is anticipated we will be able to use this detail to determine what we are capable of, which of our tradie friends we can utilise, and what materials we can provide directly. From there we will be able to put together a scope of works to enable us to go out to the market for construction pricing. Concept designs are nearly complete and we will go out for structural designs once the concept design has been finalised. It is anticipated the expert assistance will commence once detailed design has been completed and will include: • Provide a breakdown of all activities/requirements covering planning, construction and close-out stages. • Provide a breakdown of all materials required (right down to the last screw). • Provide advice on insurance, contract, tender, producer statements & certificates required etc.
