Getting a building consent to removal wall

We are wanting to remove a 3m section of wall to open up a dining room and another small room in our house. I already have a quote from a local builder to do the construction work but need a report from a structural engineer and working drawings done by a designer / architect to submit for the building consent. Also any help in submitting the building consent would be greatly appreciated - thanks!
