The cylinder is leaking through a small vertical split that I can see adjacent to the element. I've done a temporary repair which is holding so the job is not super urgent. Completion within the next 2-3 weeks should be fine. The cylinder is quite old so I want it replaced. The new cylinder needs to accommodate a wetback from the nearby wood burner.
