Connect dishwasher to water and drain
Job description
Hi, please can I have a quote to plumb in a dishwasher to the cold water pipe behind the kitchen sink (and include tap/valve so I can stop water flow to dishwasher if I need to) and to install a new trap under sink that has a supplementary inlet for the dishwasher to drain into.

The workmanship was excellent and efficient, however, when I received the invoice I found that they charged me labour for the plumber shopping to buy the parts prior to attending. I would normally expect them to have ordered in the parts as has been done on all previous work I have had completed by trades.

"Hi, we are sorry you were unaware that our staff would need to collect materials for your job and that you would be charged for it. We are also sorry that resulted in a 1/5 review. We do our best to make sure clients are aware of our rates before we start any work. It is standard practice to cover our costs for each job we work on and sometimes travelling to a supplier to collect those materials is the most efficient way to carry out a small job.
