This small bathroom, 2.4 x 1.5m , has a toilet, shower and basin.
We would like to replace all three.
We cannot do the plumbing, but keen to do the gibbing and installing of the shower if that works for you too.
While we are keeping the same layout of the bathroom, it will involve a small move in plumbing for each, whether that's waste, hot and cold tap, and the mixer, as for example, the basin is moving backwards by about 50cm.
Shower: Between the current shower and the basin is a false wall that we will remove so that the shower will be replaced with an an angle corner shower - the mixer could remain on the right where it currently is, or pipes shortened to be on the facing wall- whatever's easiest. The waste most likely will need moving.
Vanity: we'd like to put a basin on a slab with the hot/cold taps coming out of the facing wall - the vanity will be back a bit from where it is now, which means the waste which goes into the floor currently will also need moving backwards.
Toilet: Currently a Belva Flush Valve from the tank in our ceiling...with a vent coming out the left side of the toilet..not sure if we can keep this system and replace the toilet bowl (flush valve works well), or if we need to replace with a toilet and cistern...we need your advice this!
There is access to all pipes. We can strip the bathroom back in a day as needed and when ready. The floor is plywood.
This is the bottom story of two and there is a bathroom above, with the same system toilet, and we'll need to do this bathroom next.
The plumbing is all on the outside wall and we will rip all the gib off for easy access.
We'd love to get this bathroom done before Christmas.
Please provide your quote or ask any questions - you are most welcome to come to our house to view if that's easier.
Thanks a lot
From Leigh and Scott
