New extension connecting to existing house
Job description
We have a new extension that was built in a factory and then craned onto our site. The extension consists of a new kitchen and ensuite, these have both been installed in the factory. Now the extension is onsite, we need to connect everything to the existing plumbing. All of the existing plumbing apart from the kitchen was redone in 2019. Scope ensuite: All above-floor plumbing has been done Connect shower, vanity and toilet to existing water pipe below floor. Connect into shower, vanity and toilet waste pipes under floor and connect these into single 150 - 200mm waste which needs to run approx 11 meters down to the gulley waste trap. Kitchen scope: Connect kitchen tap, dish drawer to water feed, connect to exiting water pipe under floor. Plumb in kitchen sink, insinkerator, and dish drawers, then connect into waste below floor. Connect into exiting gas line, run approx 4 meters to new gas line below floor for the stove. Detention/retention tank scope: Connect into exiting downpipe and run approx 8 meters to the tank. Connect the tank and install a tap onto the tank for a garden hose outlet.
