Job description

Renovation & Repair
Tauranga

Old copper cistern pipe needs to be moved over about 350mm at a right angle so a tap can be mounted below the position of a modern cistern. I'm assuming a recess could be cut into the studs to allow the pipe to be angled horizontally and flush below the gib so a tap could be mounted close to the '×' in the photo. You might need to add a piece of framing timber to support the new tap. I can cut out more gib board, and I will replace any gib. I will supply a long braided hose to temporarily connect the new (lower position tap) to the current cistern. This work would need to be done same-day as it is our only toilet.
