Kitchen hot water pressure and Shower slider

Wanting to see if there is anything that can be done for the hot water pressure from my kitchen sink - it's so terrible that I fill buckets from the laundry sink to then fill the kitchen sink. Hot water also take a good minute or so to come through in kitchen. Then the shower slider is broken (potentially very easy fix) the washer (think that is what it is called) has come away from the slider and will not fit back into place
