We've just noticed our toilet was a little loose and after some inspection and tearing up some of the lino have noticed the floor underneath the back of the toilet bowl seems to be rotten. Which is causing the bolts that hold the toilet to the floor to be 'loose' as they're not stuck into anything solid. From what we can tell - it's not the entire floor, but a section of it towards the back of the toilet. Photos give detail to the situation. Looking for someone to come and fix/replace (not sure what's required) the toilet floor and reinstall the toilet and lino. The hardware for the toilet itself seems to be fine (unless there's something we don't know). Open to upgrading the toilet hardware/lino if required. Not sure if this is a job for a plumber, builder or a bit of both.
