Fix hot water cylinder leak
Job description
We noticed dripping from a pipe from our hot water cylinder. In the photo it is coming from where the join is in the vertical piping. The dripping is at a rate of about 1 ever 20 seconds. It would be great to get the leak fixed and the connections examined to make sure that the problem won't get worse. Our water bill has been larger than expected so it would be good to also get advice on whether there could be another issue.

The plumber arrived on schedule and applied what they believed to be a fix for issue. Unfortunately the issue recurred soon after, and we got out a different company. The new company quickly found the actual issue and fixed it cheaper than PJ Wall. This may have been due to the relative inexperience of the plumber sent to fix the issue originally.
