Little Plumbing Job - Connecting Sink Plumbing

I have a small job that shouldn't take long at all. It is to connect the sink plumbing (mostly already there). I had need to replace the top part that connects the piping to the sink (in cupboard under sink. When doing so, I found that the rest of my previous piping doesn't fit. I tried a couple of things, got frustrated, and instead of going back to bunnings for the 4th time trying to figure it out, decided it was time to call in some help. Would be great if you could take 20 mins (and possibly a few parts) to sort it out. Thanks
