Drainage issues
Job description
I have lived next a council flow path for 5 years therefore my property lies in a 100 yr flood zone. Until recently water sitting in my garden hasn’t been an issue as we have some French drains under the lawn. I’m about to undertake some landscaping of retaining walls and have soggy lawns despite weeks of dry weather. My issue may be with the overland path being blocked or draining onto my section. I need someone to advise me before u dig up my garden. Unsure of budget as don’t know solution yet

Concern initially. Had questions and had to change the plan slightly to satisfy my own concern particularly given the discovery of an underground pipe. Contractors could have raised this with me on discovery and suggested a plan as I had to request a meeting with them . Overall they were accommodating and quick to respond, still yet to see results of drainage until it rains. Hoping it will work. Site left relatively tidy.
