Shower pipe and valve? repair in wall to stop leak

Shower leaking when it is in used with water coming out of wall cladding (exterior side). Currently the shower works fine and pressure okay too. However, suspect this has problem has been around for a while and need it fixed. Existing shower over bath situation with shower head/rail mounting on the inside of a external wall. When the shower is turned on water starts dripping out of the exterior wall cladding. Attached photo shows the shower setup and also the external side of the wall with water mark. Repair needed and also make good and reinstate wall/shower so it can be used again.
