Underhouse drainage

The downstairs area of my house (currently used as a shed/storage) in Atawhai floods every time there is a heavy rain. The house is built against a bank, so the residual rain is building up in the bank and coming through the dowstairs. I think it needs new drainage put across the back concrete retaining wall. This is more than plumbing - it's to do with water tables and retaining walls.
