Recently my hot water cylinder started making a noise like it is losing pressure. Our electricity consumption also shot up. I have turned it off and consumption has come back down. My house has 2 cylinders - a newish mains pressure large cylinder which is working fine and provides hot water for the whole house except the en-suite bathroom. The problematic cylinder is a small, old (probably installed in 1990) low pressure cylinder which only serves the en-suite. I need you to come and assess the best solution to fix this problem. Can the cylinder be repaired or replaced? The third option which would be my preference if possible is to get rid of this cylinder entirely and just plumb the en-suite up to the mains pressure cylinder.

Al came up with a good, cost effective solution to my hot water problem. We're very happy with the end result.
