New shower installation

The existing shower is Englefield with a wide opening door into a fairly small ensuite bathroom. The plan is to replace it with a same-sized unit but with double-sliding doors to save space. Ideally, we'd like the new install to minimise disruption to the current tiled walls and tiled floors but are open to alternative options. At the same time also considering a rain shower unit rather than standard wall only mounted unit. Recommendations sought on best way to achieve the end result. Work could also include replacing of the toilet unit.
