Job description

Renovation & Repair
Hamilton

I’m looking for a plumber to supply and install a gas water heater and remove the old cylinder. The gas water heater will be replacing an existing electric cylinder in a single-storey, timber-framed, brick clad home. The ideal location for the new water heater is on the opposite side of the exterior wall to the existing water heater, which is located in the kitchen. I want gas to be supplied from bottles so no connection to the gas main is required. The house contains a kitchen, bathroom and laundry which are located within approx. 6m of the water heater. It seems like a 26L unit would have more than enough capacity. Existing plumbing is all underfloor, it’s not roomy under there but access shouldn’t be too difficult, the ground is lined with plastic. I understand the shower will have to be modified for the change in pressure. I will dispose of old cylinder. Will the cost of electrical work be included? I'm looking for this job to be completed within about a month though I'm pretty flexible on the timeline.
