Job description

Renovation & Repair
Dunedin

Would you like to replace old fixtures with new in my bathroom? What needs replacing? There’s the toilet bowl, cistern, bath tub, roll holder, shower hose, vanity cabinet. Budget permitting hope to also replace sink. House was built in 1961; the info in --- isn’t up to date but I’ll get to it later. I’m the owner since 1981, but the costs of extending and building a newer, bigger bathroom was too daunting. Hence I’ve decided to upgrade current bathroom instead of waiting for better times. The bath tub is used in the cold season but I fell a couple of times getting out of it. So I’d like a seated tub with a separate shower stall. Both should be enclosed to allow more than one person to use the bathroom at one time. It’s best to start the project in warmer days and since I work at night I’d not be living there when work is ongoing. I also prefer if you are around during selection of fixtures to reduce risk of unsuitability. There’s no leaks, lighting is good, heater lamp installed deliberately without exhaust. I particularly dislike tiles and white colour. The current flooring looks to be vinyl and I like it. It’s easy to clean and locate any items dropped; also if wet, dries fast. I like rustic, Mediterranean or nautical theme.
