New Conservatory - Connect Downpipe in Storm Water

Job description

Drainlaying
Christchurch

We are building a new conservatory onto the side of our house. As part of the consent we need to connect the down pipe into the existing storm water system. I believe that the main storm water pipe (clay) runs underneath the new foundations on an angle leading to the corner of the house. Work is currently being done on the foundations with final completion of the conservatory expected within 4-6 weeks. Connection would need to be made before final completion so as to not delay the consent. The down pipe can be placed on either side of the conservatory, which ever suits best. I've indicated on one of the photos the approx line of the current storm water pipe (orange) as well as an approx outline of the new pad (red). A current down pipe on the corner of the house is indicated in blue. Dog included for scale. Building specifications and consent available. Thanks

A job well done. Communication was quick, polite and professional and there was a lot of flexibility with the install date. Job completed to a good standard and Seth even removed a pile of hardfill left over from the pad excavation for free while he was here. While doing the install Seth pointed out a possible issue with roots in the drains, he ran through the options and said to get in contact if we wanted to do something about it. All in all a good experience and will happily use again.
