Leaking pipe

We have a PVC pipe in our ceiling that has a slow dripping leak. I think it is the cold water pipe for our ensuite bathroom tap. The leak is right in the eaves of the roof (see photo) so I can't easily get to it to clearly see what the problem is, but I think the join may need to be replaced.
