Hot water cylinder element burnt out & needs replacing

We assume our hot water cylinder element is burnt out and needs replacing. The pipe feels cold, so it’s likely to be a problem with either the thermostat or the element. We have checked switchboard and the fuse has not blown. We had an electrician confirm that power is being supplied to the elements and thermostat however they did not know how to drain cylinder and replace heating element. Water supply is fine, cold water is coming out of hot tap. Ideally we would like the job done as soon as possible as believe it's a fairly straightforward fix and obviously its annoying having no hot water.

Good communication and accurate quote. Replied to job promptly and was able to come to complete job within a good timeframe! Replaced heating element in hotwater cylinder and made sure it was working before leaving. Would definitely recommend and would happily use Woodhouse electrical again. Thank you!
