I have a Dux centre flush toilet with side entry water and a brass valve with ballcock. The cistern is routinely overflowing because the valve won't shut off unless I physically lift and hold the ballcock arm in place - I think the valve needs replacing. Bending the arm no longer works. It's the kind of job I should be able to do myself, but I haven't got the gear to do it and don't know what size valve to use. Rather than make a mess of my leaky toilet I'd love to hire someone who can do the job, and maybe tell me what I'd need to do it myself in the future if it happens again.
