Replace leaky T joint and install plumbing for dishwasher

Job description

Renovation & Repair
Christchurch

We recently installed underfloor insulation and noticed a slow leak from the t-joint in the galavanised pipe shown in the attached photo. The mains supply seems to come in on plastic pipe and joins an old galanised pipe. From the photo the galvanised pipe runs under the house to an outside tap on the other side of the house (small house 90 sq. metres). So it may be just as easy to replace the galanised gear with the newer plastic style pipes. The other job is to install a water inlet for a dishwasher. The second photo shows under the sink, and this is just above the rusty t-joint. So we'll need a water connection and an outlet in the waste pipe. Can probably just tap into newly installed water pipe below and pop new pipe through the floor. So 2 jobs all up: 1. Repair/replace galanised pipe. 2. Dishwasher Be great to get this done in next week. Thanks.

Job done on time. One task was agreed to be dropped as it was considered unnecessary and invoice was adjusted appropriately. Will use Tipene Plumbing again.
