Cyclinder Leaking

Not sure whether this can be repaired or needs replacing. 20 year old cylinder still works ok but leaks on and off - about once every 2 weeks. If needs replacing i will just have a normal single element cylinder - its not connected to any solar etc. Just electric. It sits in a cupboard thats 650mm deep, 700 mm wide and around 2500 high. Its fixed wired to the wall. The cupboard is on the second floor of the house but is easy to get to.
