I have just removed a sink and tap from a bench-top in order to upgrade them with replacements already purchased. Upon their removal I noticed the plumbing and cabinetry were also in need of upgrading. I do not have these ready presently but am now without my old sink. I can live with this but would really like to be able to use water elsewhere in my house which I can't do as the water supply is turned off. I am wondering of a stop-tap can be installed under the sink as I have seen practised sometimes. This would allow me to use water while I get the rest of the necessities sorted to complete the job.
